Preparation of property surveys, design and permit applications for a new 36" diameter finished water transmission main from the new water treatment plant in Economy Borough to connections to the Authority’s distribution system in Marshall Township, Allegheny County. The 36" diameter finished water transmission main is approximately 44,000' in length.

Preparation of design, contract administration and inspection for the construction of a 48'x16' (approximate) building addition to the water treatment plant to house medium voltage drives for the high service pumps. Building to be supported on drilled concrete caissons. Remove existing 36" diameter electric check valve and install a 36" diameter silent check valve and associated piping and fittings, includes storm water piping and pavement restoration. HVAC includes roof exhaust fans, dampers and related heating and ventilating equipment.

Preparation of design and permit applications for a new 15.0 MGD Water Treatment Plant located in Economy Borough, Pennsylvania. The Water Treatment Plant will consist of chemical additions, flocculation and sedimentation using plate settlers followed by gravity filtration with granular activated carbon media. UV disinfection will be provided.

Preparation of PENNVEST and grant applications, topographic and property surveys, design, contract, loan and grant administration, and inspection for a 1,700 S.F. unit masonry control building, a 4,200 S.F. sludge drying bed pole building with attached unit masonry garage, and a remote precast wet well submersible pump station, includes general/mechanical, electrical and HVAC work.
