Civil (Environmental/Sanitary) Engineer, Mid-Level

About the Position

Registered Professional Engineer, Mid-Level – Prepare feasibility studies, perform designs, complete permit applications, prepare contract documents, administer construction contracts, and apply for and administer grants for water, wastewater and municipal improvements.  The scope and complexity of work assignments, however, will be appropriate to the skill and experience of the candidate.

Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, or Sanitary Engineering and be a Registered Professional Engineer. A Master of Science degree is a plus. The candidate must have no less than 4 years of experience working for a consulting firm. More experience will be considered a plus. If the candidate’s professional registration is with a state other than Pennsylvania, the candidate’s registration and other credentials must be suitable for obtaining, through reciprocity, registration as a Professional Engineer from Pennsylvania. Continued employment is dependent upon the candidate obtaining registration from Pennsylvania as quickly as possible. The candidate must have interpersonal skills suitable for dealing with clients and the public.  The candidate must have a valid driver’s license.

Since 1951, Bankson Engineers, Inc. has specialized in providing consulting engineering services to public water utilities, public wastewater utilities, and municipalities in southwestern Pennsylvania. Our staff of 27 includes 7 registered Professional Engineers, 2 Engineers-in-Training, and 1 registered Professional Land Surveyors. Our support staff includes CADD operators, surveyors and NICET certified inspectors. Each engineer has a private office.
